Tip for a Tuesday...
Who doesn't like a sale!
Check out the sale at calendars.com. I found Christmas gift bags, regularly $5.99 for $1.50 and decorative tissue paper regularly $4.99 for just $1.25! There are dozens of items on sale from calendars to cards to window clings. My favorite artist is Susan Winget but there are many more.

Friday Fotos...
It's much too early to start seeds outside, despite very warm temperatures today. I'm also delaying a massive clean up of the garden beds, since doing so would disturb bees and insects that hibernate in the leaves and debris. Best not to wake them up too soon - they are vital workers in the garden. Also, it's important not to remove coverings of tender perennials before we are sure warm weather is here to stay without fluctuations.
Wishing everyone a safe and healthy weekend!
May consistent warm weather arrive for us all soon!

Thursday's Thought for the Day...
When I taught Third Grade, I had this posted on the back wall of my classroom. On the first day of school each year, I would ask the students if they understood what it meant. Few hands went up. So I would give examples such as would you want someone to help you if you fell down, share their snack if you didn't have one or ask you to play a game with them at lunchtime.
Several students would nod their heads.
Then I would ask how they would feel if
someone made fun of them, tripped them as they walked down the aisle, or didn't include them in a game or an invitation to a party.
Many hands would then go up and share what that would feel like.
Now imagine what the world would be like if everyone actually did this. If before we act or speak or write a comment, we thought
"Would I want someone to say or do this to me?"

Wednesday's Wisdom...
I sleep better when I do this:
Putting down the phone and IPad a few hours before bedtime really makes a difference.
Carefully choosing who and what to follow is important. I don't need to know everything that goes on in the world every minute of the day. "Decluttering" can also include editing and being selective about the information I absorb.

Tip for a Tuesday...
Got Legos? Getting dusty?
Use a large makeup brush to dust them off.
Makes the job much easier and doesn't disturb the tiny pieces and people.

"Hallmark Card Studio®
The fast, easy and fun way to create unique Hallmark cards for any occasion"
A good friend gave me a card a couple of years ago, which I soon realized she had designed and printed herself. I noted the mark on the back of the card and found the software she used - Hallmark!
After purchasing and installing, I've been able to customize cards with photos and texts, as well as use the designs provided by Hallmark for every occasion imaginable. I am fortunate that the Englishman has a great printer which works beautifully.
I actually order the card stock and envelopes via Amazon so the cost is roughly $1 per card - far cheaper than what you pay in stores for cards.
Check out their website and see if it will work for you.
