I'm back.
Strep throat, followed by bronchitis, more than a month looking after Daughter #1 while she recovered from labrum tear repair surgery on her hip, followed two weeks later with her passing a kidney stone, one of her basset hounds finally losing what little sight he had left in one of his eyes due to glaucoma becoming totally blind.....it's been a bit hellish around here lately.
Thankfully, we are on the mend and things seem to have quieted down for the moment. The Englishman has been my savior and helped me enormously! Since his retirement as of the first of the year he has run our household, (including the laundry!!) looked after our basset who is aging before our eyes, driven Daughter #1 and her Ollie to the eye specialist for consult and surgery, and to her physical therapy and doctor. He has forced me to rest so I can finally stop coughing, which I greatly appreciate and have benefited from. (I think he's busier now than when he was working!)
Next up? Daughter #3 is due with her baby #3, our first grandson, in just a couple of weeks. So my bags are packed and I'm ready to look after the little ones while she is in hospital.
In the meantime....
The Englishman rented this movie yesterday and I highly recommend it!!!
But please don't read any reviews or info about it before hand, as it would spoil it for you.
