The photo doesn't do it justice, but the above is a board which Daughter #1 had engraved by The Beehive Workshop with my Mother's famous pumpkin bread recipe. It replicates the recipe card she passed on to me, right down to the stains and smudges from years of use.
It is a tangible reminder of her beautiful handwriting and brings back memories of her baking these loaves and sharing them generously.
