Thrilled that I could make it to the girls' Spring Concert early this morning!
(Great job as always, Mrs. Bower!!)

Too many blessings to count!!!

Wishing everyone a dry weekend, though that looks doubtful.
Yes, I will be rising just after 4am on Saturday to watch the Royal Wedding. Who's with me?

Wednesday's Wisdom....

""Prayer and housekeeping - they go together. They have always gone together. We simply know that our daily round is how we live. When we clean and order our homes, we are somehow also cleaning and ordering ourselves," Gunilla Norris tells us in her modern book of hours, Being Home.  How we care for our home is a subtle but significant expression of self-esteem.""

Tip for a Tuesday....

Lead on...

Daughter #3 recently shared with me the most brilliant idea! While showing me around her home and acquainting me with her daily routine (in preparation for when I look after granddaughter #3 while her mother gives birth to our 4th) she noted that she keeps a separate set of dog leashes in her master bedroom closet.
 Just in cases....
In case there is an emergency during the night and the family, including their three dogs, needs to leave the house. She has the leashes at hand to be able to safely escort the dogs outside and keep them from running off in a panic.
Brilliant, right?
Despite years and years of dog ownership, I've never thought to do this. We have had our dogs sleep in our room at night for years. Thankfully, we've never had a problem. But you never know, so I've since hung Dudley's old lead in our closet.
Heaven forbid... we can now safely bring Bentley down the stairs and keep him close.

If you have pets, you might want to consider this.
