"Grandmom" - third recital I performed in, age six.

Wow! The poses chosen by the professional photographers haven't changed in 50 years!

I was unable to watch M perform during her recital, 

but had the joy of watching her dance during her dress rehearsal.

Oh yes.     I cried!

And I know my mother watched every step M took, from her vantage point in Heaven.

Sitting through the two hours of rehearsal, I turned to daughter #2 and said, 

"I owe my mother so much!" 

I had no idea at the time what she sacrificed during the ten years I was in ballet school.
