Begonias!
In my experience, begonias have always been an annual flower that was a favorite of my Dad's. Flowering all summer, then fading away come Autumn. After he passed, my Mom would plant them for him at the cemetery.
Last year, I kept one of the plants I had purchased indoors. And low and behold, it has thrived all year long with gorgeous yellow blooms.
So if you ever make it out to the garden center this year, pick one up and keep it as a houseplant.
It will reward you daily with stunning color!
