A couple of weeks ago it looked as though a large dinosaur had invaded our neighborhood as a huge crane quickly tore apart a house and shed standing derelict since Hurricane Sandy. It is a relief to have the property sold, the moldy dwelling and contents taken away.
It was an absolute joy for me to go to the American Girl store in NYC recently with granddaughters #1 and #2. We celebrated C's 7th birthday in the cafe. I must say, the food and service were outstanding!! The girls brought two of their favorite dolls and had their hair done in the salon. And of course, several special items came home with us. I highly recommend a visit there!

We literally shouted "photo" and quickly got all my girls together as granddaughter #3 was about to run out of the room.
